Season Planning

Hey there first post and I wanted to use it to ask for a bit of advice :slight_smile:
I’m going into my first summer season as a uni runner and was wondering how some others tend to structure their seasons in terms of race distances (start shorter end longer) and number and frequency of races?

Thought it might be cool to hear some different takes

Communicate with your coach number 1. I tend to just race what I want to race/focus on all season and really work in my wheel house. XC base for me starts after I’m done track season. I don’t find it helpful to worry about the next season too much beforte the current one is done.
